CORE83-3

2076CE: exploration of our solar system has expanded. We have shifted our colonization efforts away from Mars towards Earth's closest neighbor, Venus. Owing to the intense surface heat, the planet’s crust contains an abundance of crystalline bismuth. Many of the core samples taken from the landing site of Magellan II on the northern continent of Ishtar Terra (see Core83-3), contain rich deposits. This bismuth will prove an invaluable resource in refueling our spacecraft for deeper manned exploration of the solar system.
